Round 1 Dustin is sent crashing to the mat by a powerful right hook. Barnes stands over Dustin Barber, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Dustin Barber is able to grab an arm and pull Barnes into his guard. Barnes dodges a few strikes from Dustin Barber and cuts him over his eye with a axe-handle strike. Dustin Barber is starting to bleed over his left eye. Barnes takes advantage of a mental laps from Barber and moves into full mount. "Easter Surprise" attempts to buck Lucas Barnes off from mount but Lucas Barnes keeps his base and maintains position. Dustin Barber gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Giving up his back, Dustin Barber panics and gives up mount instead. Barber bucks off Barnes and both fighters get to their feet. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Barnes tries to hyperextend the knee of "Easter Surprise" with a kick to the kneecap. "Easter Surprise" hops back to avoid it. Barber is hit with a jab-cross and then brutally shoved to the ground. Lucas falls into his guard, delivering a strong punch as he does so. Barber pulls Lucas close and connects with a few heel strikes to the back. Barnes pushes down Barbers leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Lucas Barnes slams his knee into Dustin Barbers ribs. Lucas hits Barber with some punches to the side of the head. Dustin Barber is able to work a leg through from the bottom to attain full guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Barnes is staggered by a jab to the chin. Dustin Barber narrowly dodges a cross from Lucas, but falls catching him in his guard. A kimura attempt is defended well by Lucas and he is able to sneak his leg through "Easter Surprises" loose guard, to half guard. Dustin goes to deep half guard and grabs the arm of Barnes and sweeps him forward into side control.
The bell signals the end of round 3.
Round 4 A shot catches "Easter Surprise" off balance and off guard. Barnes spears him but can only manage to make it to guard. Barnes rains down hammer fists. Lucas Barnes takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Dustin Barbers guard. It doesn't pay off as Barber makes his way to standing. Lucas lands a double jab. The fighters circle each other. Barber is caught with a double leg takedown, forcing him to give side control. Barber takes a few knees to the body while under Lucas Barness side control. Barnes lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Round 4 is over.
Round 5 "Easter Surprise" narrowly dodges a cross from Lucas, but falls catching him in his guard. A kimura attempt is defended well by Lucas and he is able to sneak his leg through Dustin Barbers loose guard, to half guard. Lucas is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Barnes secures his position. Dustin gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Lucas tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Lucas lands undefended strikes to the side of Dustin Barbers head. The ref stops the fight.
