Round 1 Mau Acosta connects with a hard jab as Patrick Price attempts a wide outside hook. "Patty McFatty" gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Patrick Price carefully protects himself from Acostas strikes. Patrick is able to make it back to the standing position. Mau Acosta throws a cross that easily dodged by Patrick. Patrick Price grabs for a clinch but Mau Acosta grazes him with an uppercut. Patrick Price staggers back, then surprises Mau Acosta with a powerful superman punch. A lazy leg kick from Acosta is caught by Price who lands a huge overhand right, flooring Acosta. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 A shot is side stepped by "Patty McFatty" but quick reflexes and footwork lead to a second attempt that takes down "Patty McFatty". Mau Acosta settles into his guard. Acosta pushes down "Patty McFattys" leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. "Patty McFatty" attempts to get to full guard but in the process gives up mount. Mau Acosta lands a double punch to the head of Patrick. Price gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Acosta peppers Patrick with several shots to the face. Price tripods up, causing Mau to fall forward. A scramble ensues and Price is able to take guard. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 The fighters circle each other. Acosta shoots in on Patrick Price but cannot finish the takedown. Patrick Price lands a couple of knees to the head, forcing Acosta to roll to his guard. Patrick Price pulls out of the guard of Mau Acosta, stands up, feels it out, and drops a huge right hand to the jaw of Mau Acosta. Patrick pushes down Acostas leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Patrick is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Acosta gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Acosta starts to wiggle out of back control, Price lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Patrick parries Mau Acostas jab and connect with a cross. Patrick catches a leg kick from Mau, and puts him on the mat. The round comes to an end.
Round 4 Patrick hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Acosta. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Patrick works to Mau Acostas back while standing. Patrick throws a couple of outside shots until Mau is able to work his way back to the clinch. Acosta receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. Patrick fakes a shot attempt from the clinch, opening Mau Acosta up for a flurry of hooks. Acosta connects with a hard jab as Patrick attempts a wide outside hook. Patrick Price hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Patrick Price clinches with "5 Foot Taquito" and lands multiple piston shots and short uppercuts to soften up "5 Foot Taquito" for a trip takedown, landing Patrick Price is half guard. Round 4 is finished.
Round 5 "5 Foot Taquito" stuffs a shot from "Patty McFatty" and hits him with a hard hook to the temple and pushes him to take his guard. A kimura attempt is defended well by Mau Acosta and he is able to sneak his leg through Patricks loose guard, to half guard. "Patty McFatty" tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. "5 Foot Taquito" slips out of half guard and into side control. "5 Foot Taquito" lands a few stiff elbows from side control. "5 Foot Taquito" drops some hammer fists on Patrick. Round 5 is over.
