Round 1 A shot catches Kenta off balance and off guard. Jon Rogers spears him but can only manage to make it to guard. Imai is caught in a can opener and opens his guard. He lands two quick strikes but Jon Rogers transitions to half guard. Jon is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Kenta shifts his head and hips to keep Rogers off balance and unable to land strikes. Kenta gets pummeled by the fists of Rogers. Kenta gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. Jon peppers shot to the head of Kenta Imai looking for an opening to apply a rear naked choke but Kenta Imai is hand playing well. Imai is able to make it back to the standing position. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Imai throws a hard jab but Rogers throws a cross right over the top that knocks Imai to the ground. Jon Rogers stands over Imai, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Imai is able to grab an arm and pull Jon Rogers into his guard. While caught in the guard, Jon Rogers opens up a cut on Imai with a devestating elbow. Kenta Imai attempts to create some space from his guard, but Jon Rogers sees the opening and passes to full mount. Jon Rogers executes a double hand slap to the ears of Kenta. Kenta gets pummeled by the fists of Jon. Kenta gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. Rogers lays into Imai with some strong shots forcing Imai to give up mount position. Kenta gets pummeled by the fists of Jon. Round 3 Imai circles Jon, landing jabs and crosses at will. Imai throws a push kick. Rogers shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Kenta Imais nose.
Kenta Imai takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Rogers lands a double jab. Jon circles Imai, landing jabs and crosses at will. Jon Rogers takes down Imai, but remains standing over him. The round comes to an end.
Round 4 Kenta winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Kenta lands a strong outside leg kick and follows it up with a jab-cross combo. Kenta connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Kenta is met with a hook cross combo that staggers him. Jon explodes forward with a flurry punches that leaves Kenta crumpled on the mat.
