Round 1 "A Loogie" sends Diaz to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Hawk Jodoin drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Jodoin drops a few strong punches, opening up Diazs guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. Mau gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "A Loogie" peppers "Watermelon" with several shots to the face. "Watermelon" starts to wiggle out of back control, Jodoin lets him escape putting them both on their feet. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Mau Diaz receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. While tied up, "Watermelon" is met with a hard uppercut. Jodoin parries Maus jab and lands a hook that floors Diaz. Jodoin stands over Mau, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Mau is able to grab an arm and pull Jodoin into his guard. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 "Watermelon" connects with a strong body shot combo. "Watermelon" parries Hawks jab and connect with a cross. Diaz circles Hawk, mixing jabs with body shots. Mau parries a jab but leaves himself open for a hard cross. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Hawk lands a strong outside leg kick and follows it up with a jab-cross combo. Mau Diaz connects with a brutal kick to the liver of "A Loogie" who falls to the ground. Mau Diaz waves him back to his feet. "A Loogie" slips a cross and lands a kick to the inside leg of "Watermelon". Hawk parries "Watermelons" jab and lands a liver shot. Hawk Jodoin unleashes several furious punches at Mau Diaz. The round comes to an end.
Round 4 Jodoin parries Maus jab and lands an uppercut. Hawk lands a hook to the body. "A Loogie" moves in to press the action, but Mau lands a heavy back kick. Jodoin connects with numerous jabs to the face of "Watermelon". "Watermelon" winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. "Watermelon" weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty hook. Jodoin dodges a series of strikes from Mau Diaz and counters with a body shot and cross. Jodoin then backs up and wags a finger at Mau Diaz. Mau Diaz attempts to clinch, but Jodoin connects with an uppercut to the jaw. Jodoin feints and follows up with a hard crossto the head of Diaz. Round 4 is over.
Round 5 Hawk slips a cross from Diaz and lands an uppercut to the liver. A jab-hook-uppercut combo has Diaz stepping back and shaking the cobwebs out. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. A running flurry from Mau is countered by a well-timed shovel punch from Hawk Jodoin. Hawk Jodoin follows up with a powerful kick to the midsection. Hawk throws a hard leg kick but is checked by "Watermelon". Mau takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. A lazy leg kick from "Watermelon" is caught by Jodoin who lands a huge overhand right, flooring "Watermelon". The round comes to an end.
