Round 1 Brian Teng connects with jab cross combination. Brian Teng chips away at Reyes with a series of kicks to the legs. Angelo Reyes counters a jab with a stiff uppercut. Both fighters move in to strike but miss their marks. As they jockey for position in the clinch Brian wins the momentum battle and falls into side control on top of Reyes. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Brian connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Angelo. Teng takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Angelo Reyes throws a kick to the midsection that is caught by Brian. Brian lands a sweeping leg kick that puts Angelo Reyes on his back. Brian Teng hovers over Reyes pushing his legs to the side and throwing punches down at his body and head. Reyes sends a hard up kick that rocks Brian Teng. Reyes stands back up. Brian Teng parries Angelos jab and connect with a cross that floors Angelo. Teng lays into Angelo Reyess thighs with some well timed kicks while Angelo is grounded. Brian kicks at the legs of Reyes and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Reyes to stand. Angelo Reyes lands a double jab. Brian Teng continually moves away from Angelo Reyes, who stalks him patiently, occasionally landing a jab or cross. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Brian Teng takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Brian Teng drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Angelo sets a guillotine choke but Brian Teng slips out at the last moment. Brian Teng is now caught in guard. Brian Teng uses strikes to open Reyess guard. Brian Teng stands up and waves Reyes up. Angelo tries to hyperextend the knee of Teng with a kick to the kneecap. Teng hops back to avoid it. Angelo throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Brian Teng is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Angelo Reyes lands a devastating overhand right on Brian. The bell signals the end of round 3.
Round 4 Teng lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. A shot from Brian Teng is countered with a well timed hook to his temple. Reyes scrambles to his back but cannot sink a choke. Angelo peppers Brian with several shots to the face. Teng is able to make it back to the standing position. Reyes peppers Brian Teng with a flurry of punches that cannot be kept up with. Teng lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. Brian throws a hard jab but Angelo Reyes throws a cross right over the top rocking Brian. The bell signals the end of round 4.
Round 5 Brian Teng connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Teng fires a haymaker but misses spinning himself around. Angelo Reyes quickly takes his back. Brian carefully protects himself from Reyess strikes. Brian starts to wiggle out of back control, Reyes lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Reyes parries a jab but is hit with a powerful knee to the midsection. Brian Teng shuffles away from Angelo Reyess strikes and lands a powerful chopping kick to the lead leg. Angelo backs away, obviously feeling the affects of the kick. Angelo Reyes lands a devastating overhand right on Brian. Round 5 is over.
