Round 1 Cosmas parries Yasha Voskresenskys jab and connect with a cross. Yasha throws a few strikes allowing him to clinch with his opponent. Cosmas lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. While in the clinch Voskresensky grabs the elbow of Cosmas while turning away from him. Voskresensky pulls his opponents body towards his planted leg causing Cosmas to flip over with a nice Tai Otoshi throw. Voskresensky takes side control. Athanas takes a few knees to the body while under Yasha Voskresenskys side control. Yasha lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Yasha slides his knee across the body of Athanas and takes full mount. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Cosmas Athanas reaches down and trips Yasha with a beautiful ankle pick. Cosmas Athanas dives into his guard. Two large hammerfists forces Yasha Voskresensky to attempt to shift away from Cosmas Athanas which give Cosmas Athanas the opportunity to move to half guard. Yasha lands some stiff elbows from the ground, but Cosmas is able to take full mount. Yasha shifts his head and hips to keep Athanas off balance and unable to land strikes. Voskresensky gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Yasha carefully protects himself from Cosmass strikes. Cosmas lands undefended strikes to the side of Voskresenskys head. The ref stops the fight.
