Round 1 Delun Luo throws a hard jab but Devon throws a cross right over the top rocking Delun Luo. Delun connects with a hard jab as Devon Marrero attempts a wide outside hook. Devon connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Marrero connects with jab cross combination. Devon Marrero tries to hyperextend the knee of "the Devastator" with a kick to the kneecap. "the Devastator" hops back to avoid it. Delun Luo plows through Marrero with a driving double leg takedown. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Marrero connects with a series of punches forcing Delun into a clinch. Devon works Delun Luo into the cage from the clinch. Devon presses his head under Deluns chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Devon Marrero escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Both fighters begin to exchange Marrero catches "the Devastator" with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets "the Devastator" gather himself. "the Devastator" says he is ok and the fight continues. Devon Marrero hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Delun Luo. Delun circles Devon Marrero, mixing jabs and leg kicks. A lazy leg kick from Delun is caught by Marrero who lands a huge overhand right, flooring Delun. Devon stands over Delun Luo, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Delun Luo cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 An outside leg trip puts "the Devastator" into side control. Luo attempts an armbar, but Devon Marrero stops the attempt. Luo uses the oppurtunity to take mount. Luo maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Devon Marrero gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "the Devastator" slides to the side and spanks the butt of Devon in a sign of disrespect. The crowd laughs uncontrollably. Devon rolls back into being mounted.Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 Devon Marrero keeps Delun at a distance with some well timed jabs. Devon Marrero connects with numerous jabs to the face of Luo. Devon hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Luo hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Marrero. Delun Luo lands a double jab. Luo plows through Devon Marrero with a driving double leg takedown. The bell signals the end of round 4.
Round 5 Delun Luo ducks and weaves through a quick combo from Devon and knocks him back with a shovel punch to the jaw. "the Devastator" connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. "the Devastator" tries to hyperextend the knee of Marrero with a kick to the kneecap. Marrero hops back to avoid it. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. "the Devastator" connects with a strong right hook. Delun fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Devon Marrero to the cage. Devon Marrero swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Round 5 is finished.
