Round 1 Somboon attempts a takedown but slips, and Gonzalez backs away. Gonzalez is standing over Somboon. Procopio attempts to drop a fist on Somboon, but misses and lands in his guard. "Sonic Boom" begins to posture on his side. Procopio Gonzalez lands a couple of outside hooks and "Sonic Boom" returns to the guard. Gonzalez takes advantage of a mental laps from Supakit Somboon and moves into full mount. Gonzalez splits Supakit Somboons nose open with a well timed punch. Somboon gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Procopio lays into Supakit Somboon with some strong shots forcing Supakit Somboon to give up mount position. Supakit Somboon bucks off Procopio Gonzalez and sweeps him over taking side control. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Both fighters begin to exchange Gonzalez catches Somboon with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Somboon gather himself. Somboon says he is ok and the fight continues. Procopio Gonzalez narrowly dodges a cross from Somboon, but falls catching him in his guard. Procopio Gonzalez begins to posture on his side. Somboon lands a couple of outside hooks and Procopio Gonzalez returns to the guard. Somboon presses the action while in the guard, but Procopio Gonzalez is able to switch him into mount. Procopio Gonzalez throws some outside strikes at Somboon. Gonzalez lands a double punch to the head of Supakit. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 "Sonic Boom" narrowly dodges a cross from Procopio Gonzalez, but falls catching him in his guard. Supakit gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. "Sonic Boom" gets double underhooks from his back while achieving lock down with his legs. "Sonic Boom" lifts his opponents legs with his giving him space to shoot down and grab the opposite leg. Procopio releases the lockdown and swiftly moves to mount. Procopio punishes Supakit Somboon with a series of strikes from the mount. Supakit gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Procopio Gonzalez lands a double punch to the head of Somboon. Procopio lands a double punch to the head of "Sonic Boom". The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 4 Procopio connects with a series of punches forcing Somboon into a clinch. Somboon receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. While tied up, Supakit is met with a hard uppercut. Supakit hits an uppercut to the head of Gonzalez followed by a hard hook. Procopio Gonzalez connects with a jab cross combination. Supakit takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Gonzalez connects with a right that puts Supakit off balance tumbling to the mat, as Gonzalez towers over him. Procopio drops a huge strike to Somboons chin, landing into his guard. Round 4 is over.
Round 5 Supakit connects with a hard punch making Procopio Gonzalez bring him in to a tight clinch. "Sonic Boom" takes Procopio Gonzalezs back standing. "Sonic Boom" lands a couple of uppercuts from behind. Procopio is able to work his way back around. "Sonic Boom" attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Procopio Gonzalez pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Procopio connects with a hard jab as Somboon attempts a wide outside hook. Gonzalez takes a punch to the jaw. He drops his hands and asks Somboon to hit him harder. Procopio Gonzalez circles Supakit Somboon, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Somboon throws a hard jab but Procopio throws a cross right over the top that knocks Somboon to the ground. Procopio pounces on Supakit Somboon, but is met with a powerful upkick. Procopio manages to land into side control though. The bell signals the end of round 5.
