Round 1 Delgado throws a hard leg kick but is checked by Brynach. Brynach Watkins narrowly dodges a cross from Javier, but falls catching him in his guard. Javier drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Delgado frees a leg and moves into half guard. Brynach tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. Delgado presses his foot onto the thigh of Watkins to get his own foot free. He successfully releases his leg and moves to side control. "The Wonder" gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Watkins starts to wiggle out of back control, Delgado lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Javier Delgado lands a hook to the body. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Watkins parries a jab but is hit with a powerful knee to the midsection. Javier connects with jab cross combination. Delgado takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Brynach Watkins lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Delgado. "Devil Ray" tries to hyperextend the knee of Brynach Watkins with a kick to the kneecap. Brynach Watkins hops back to avoid it. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Javier Delgado connects with jab cross combination. Javier Delgado locks in a tight muay thai clinch and lands several knees to the ribs of "The Wonder". Watkins drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Delgado sets a guillotine choke but Watkins slips out at the last moment. Watkins is now caught in guard. Javier backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. "The Wonder" connects with a series of punches forcing Javier into a clinch. A full foot sweep knocks Brynach Watkins to the ground. Delgado pounces on "The Wonder", but is met with a powerful upkick. Delgado manages to land into side control though. The bell signals the end of round 3.
Round 4 "Devil Ray" unleashes a flurry of punches on Watkins. Brynach Watkins hits an uppercut to the head of Javier followed by a hard hook. Brynach connects with a hard right hand putting Delgado on the mat. Brynach goes down with him into side control. The round comes to an end.
Round 5 Brynach Watkins connects with a right that puts Javier Delgado off balance tumbling to the mat, as Brynach Watkins towers over him. "The Wonder" attempts to drop a fist on Delgado, but misses and lands in his guard. Brynach Watkins passes through Delgados guard into mount. Javier gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Brynach tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Javier tripods up, causing Brynach to fall forward. As Brynach tries to scramble up Javier lands a lunging hook, putting Brynach on the ground. Javier stands up and looks to the ref to force Brynach into standing. The ref does not comply.Round 5 comes to a close.
