Round 1 Arjun Roy connects with a strong right hook. Arjun Roy sends Giordano to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Giordano is hit with a series of powerful punches while utilizing the guard. Arjun pushes down Giordanos leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Arjun Roy is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Antonio gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Antonio Giordano starts to wiggle out of back control, Roy lets him escape putting them both on their feet. A welt begins to form under Antonios eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Arjun Roy. Round 2 Arjun connects with numerous jabs to the face of Antonio Giordano. Antonio connects with a hard jab as Arjun attempts a wide outside hook. Arjun Roy connects with a hard punch making Antonio bring him in to a tight clinch. Antonio drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Arjun sets a guillotine choke but Antonio slips out at the last moment. Antonio is now caught in guard. Arjun attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. Roy hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Antonio Giordano. Antonio Giordano throws a push kick. Arjun Roy shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Antonios nose.
Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Antonio fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Roy. Arjun Roy lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Arjun attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Giordano pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Antonio Giordano catches a leg kick and fires a hard punch to the head dropping Roy. Giordano drops a huge strike to Arjuns chin, landing into his guard. Antonio takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Arjun Roys guard. It doesn't pay off as Arjun Roy makes his way to standing. A couple of powerful body shots forces Roy back to the cage. Antonio swims to double underhooks. Roy cannot stop Antonio from stepping back and taking him to the floor. Antonio attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Arjun Roy slips out of it at the last moment. Arjun Roy slides out from bottom grasping the back of Antonio allowing him to get back control. Round 3 is finished.
Round 4 Giordano hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Arjun. Antonio connects with a hard punch making Arjun bring him in to a tight clinch. Roy attempts to grab the plum but Antonio takes the opportunity to attain double underhooks and take down Roy. Antonio Giordano sits up in Roys open guard and spins to an leg lock. Arjun Roy is able to gator-roll out of it and make it to standing. Antonio narrowly dodges a cross from Arjun, but falls catching him in his guard. Antonio Giordano is hit with a series of powerful punches while utilizing the guard. Antonio begins to posture on his side. Roy lands a couple of outside hooks and Antonio returns to the guard. Giordano reachs over Arjun Roys shoulder and sets in a kimura. Roy tries to escape, but cannot. He has to tap out.
