Round 1 Malcolm Masters connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Malcolm Masters lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles Wiuff. Malcolm Masters throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Wiuff puts Malcolm Masters on the mat giving his back up. Evan Wiuff lands a series of heavy punches forcing "Magic Man" to roll to his back, giving Evan Wiuff mount. Evan Wiuff secures his position. Malcolm Masters bucks off Wiuff and both fighters get to their feet. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Evan throws a cross that easily dodged by "Magic Man". "Magic Man" connects with a series of punches forcing Wiuff into a clinch. A full foot sweep knocks Evan Wiuff to the ground. Malcolm throws a short kick to the downed Evan. Evan takes the chance to rise back to his feet. "Magic Man" connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Evan Wiuff. "Magic Man" fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Wiuff. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Malcolm Masters receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Evan Wiuff. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 A looping right hook from "Magic Man" sends Wiuff to the mat. "Magic Man" lays into Evans thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Evan Wiuff does so. A running flurry from Evan Wiuff is countered by a shovel punch to the jaw. "Magic Man" then grabs the plum and throws Evan Wiuff to the ground, immediately striking Evan Wiuffs thighs. Malcolm Masters hovers over Evan pushing his legs to the side and throwing punches down at his body and head. Malcolm Masters waves for Evan to stand up. "Magic Man" locks in a tight muay thai clinch and lands several knees to the ribs of Evan. Malcolm Masters places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Wiuff lands multiple piston shots and short uppercuts to soften up Malcolm Masters for a trip takedown. Malcolm Masters is able to pull a switch mid-trip and lands in Wiuffs half guard. Wiuff holds the head of Malcolm Masters close to avoid shots. Malcolm Masters slams shots to his opponents ribs and throws hard elbows to the thighs. Evan Wiuff defends short shots well by turning his head. Malcolm attempts to get a leg free and successfully moves into dominant side control. The bell signals the end of round 3.
Round 4 Wiuff connects with a hard punch making "Magic Man" bring him in to a tight clinch. "Magic Man" works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Malcolm Masters grabs the plum and pulls Evans face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. Malcolm Masters releases the hold and lands an uppercut. Malcolm lands a solid kick to the front leg of Evan Wiuff. A welt begins to form under Malcolm Masterss eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Evan Wiuff. Malcolm circles Wiuff, mixing jabs with body shots. Malcolm catches a leg kick and fires a hard punch to the head dropping Evan. Evan Wiuff thrusts his leg into Masterss knee while grounded. The round comes to an end.
Round 5 "Magic Man" circles Evan Wiuff, landing jabs at will. Evan connects with a hard punch making Masters bring him in to a tight clinch. Wiuff works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Evan Wiuff decides to abandon the clinch by pulling guard and bringing Masters with him. Masters frees a leg and moves into half guard. Evan is able to work a leg through from the bottom to attain full guard. "Magic Man" dodges a few strikes from Evan and cuts him open with a couple of powerful elbows. Wiuff lands an omoplata but Malcolm rolls out of it leading both fighters to a stand up. Evan is leading with his head during his combos and Masters makes him pay by landing a lead knee to the jaw. Evan shakes it off as he steps back. Evan clinches with Malcolm and lands multiple piston shots and short uppercuts to soften up Malcolm for a trip takedown, landing Evan is half guard. Round 5 comes to a close.
