Round 1 Barry connects with numerous jabs to the face of Evans. Evans throws a hard leg kick but is checked by Barry. Russell connects with a series of punches forcing "Downtown" into a clinch. Barry Russell escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Len Evans narrowly dodges a cross from Russell, but falls catching him in his guard. "Downtown" backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. A trip to the ground allows Len to move into the guard of Barry Russell. Barry Russell sets in an omaplata, forcing Len to roll through, giving Barry Russell side control. Barry throws his knee into the ribs of Len Evans. Barry slides his knee across the body of Len and takes full mount. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "Downtown" attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Russell pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Russell connects with a hard jab as Len attempts a wide outside hook. Russell connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Len. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Evans throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Barry Russell is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Len Evans light on his feet feints in and out showing different angles finally commits to thrust kick to the body followed by a hard head kick that is blocked. Len hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Barry Russell. Barry Russell throws a few jabs at "Downtown" that miss the mark. Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 "Downtown" throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Barry is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Barry throws a hard jab but Evans throws a cross right over the top rocking Barry. Len Evans fakes an overhand and is able to take down Barry with a double ankle pick. Barry goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Len slips out at the last second. Barry Russell backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Barry is caught square on the jaw putting him to the canvas, Len Evans prepares to pounce, but Barry gets his bearings just in time. Round 4 is over.
Round 5 Barry connects with a series of punches forcing Len Evans into a clinch. "Downtown" takes the back of Russell who works for a kimura. "Downtown" pulls his arm out of the hold and push Russell away. Both fighters begin to exchange "Downtown" catches Russell with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Russell gather himself. Russell says he is ok and the fight continues. Len Evans feints forward causing his opponent to miss. Len Evans feints forward again and again. Barry Russell is frozen letting Len Evans land a big uppercut followed by a hard hook to the head. Len Evans finishes Barry Russell off with a flurry of head strikes.
