Round 1 Sid Nelson peppers Allen with a flurry of punches that cannot be kept up with. Allen connects with a hard punch making Sid Nelson bring him in to a tight clinch. Allen drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. "The Highlander" sets a guillotine choke but Allen slips out at the last moment. Allen is now caught in guard. Jake Allen backs out of the guard, and chooses to stand with his opponent, allowing him to his feet. Jake circles Sid, landing jabs at will. Allen eats a stiff kick to the face. A lazy leg kick from Allen is caught by Sid who lands a huge overhand right, flooring Allen. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Allen ducks and weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty uppercut. A straight powerful jab from Allen sends Nelson crashing to the mat.
