Round 1 Jad Felipe connects with a hard jab as Zayar attempts a wide outside hook. "Grand" clinches with Jad and lands multiple piston shots and short uppercuts to soften up Jad for a trip takedown, landing "Grand" is half guard. Felipe pops his head under the arm of Zayar Salemi reaches down and grabs the foot. Wrenches up for a calf lock. Zayar Salemi rolls out of the attempt. Felipe dives into guard. Jad sits up in "Grands" open guard and spins to an leg lock. Salemi is able to gator-roll out of it and make it to standing. Jad Felipe hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Felipe connects with 1-2 jab hook combo and quickly steps away. Salemi hunts down his opponent and throws 2 heavy haymakers that get nothing but air. Salemi connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Jad Felipe. "Grand" stuff a shot from Jad Felipe and lands several shots to the body. Jad Felipe attempts to pull guard but "Grand" pushes his way to half guard. Salemi is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Jad Felipe connects with numerous jabs to the face of Zayar. Felipe executes a beautiful double leg takedown, putting Salemi to the mat, and Felipe into side control. Zayar almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. Jad drops some good elbows to the face of "Grand" forcing him to give up his back. Salemi carefully protects himself from Jad Felipes strikes. Jad peppers shots to the head of "Grand" and finds an opening to slide his arm under the neck for a tight choke. "Grand" struggles for a bit but has to tap out.
