Leon attempts to pull guard, but slips, putting him on the ground, and with Russ Barnes standing over him. Barnes attempts to drop a fist on Olivier, but misses and lands in his guard. Russ drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Russ Barnes dodges a few strikes from "Leo" and cuts him open with a couple of powerful elbows. Round 2 Barnes connects with numerous jabs to the face of "Leo". The fighters circle each other. Russ Barnes pushes away from "Leo" and lands a strong chopping kick to the lead leg. Russ Barnes lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Leon Olivier counters a jab with a stiff uppercut. Russ throws a powerful left hook, but is met with a strong jab from Olivier. Russ lands a strong outside leg kick but is met with a counter hook from "Leo" that puts him on the floor. Leon kicks at the legs of Russ Barnes and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Russ Barnes to stand. Leon is hit with a jab then a hook to the body and stumbles backward. Russ Barnes tries to press the action but is met with a push kick from Leon that puts him on the floor. "Leo" stands over Barnes, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Barnes cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. Leon kicks at the legs of Barnes and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Barnes to stand. "Leo" dodges a jab and throws a kick to the midsection of Russ. A wild right hook from "Leo" puts Russ Barnes to sleep.
