Round 1 Jay connects with a series of punches forcing Zayar Salemi into a clinch. Jay gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. Jay takes the back of "Grand" who works for a kimura. Jay pulls his arm out of the hold and push "Grand" away. A trip to the ground allows Salemi to move into the guard of Jay Haynes. Jay Haynes keeps his head down in the chest of Zayar to avoid any submission attempts. Jay Haynes leans up and lands some short punches before lowering back down. Jay Haynes attempts to lock an omoplata, but Zayar Salemi is able to muscle his way back to the guard. Haynes dodges some ground strikes from Zayar, and sends a few back of his own. Haynes places both feet on the hips of Salemi and pushes him up in the air. Haynes flips him over right in to an armbar. Salemi taps out.
