Round 1 Ernest Correira connects with a strong body shot combo. Armantas Dagys unleashes a flurry of punches on Ernest Correira. Dagys hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. A welt begins to form under Correiras eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Armantas Dagys. Correira throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Dagys puts Correira on the mat giving his back up. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Ernest hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Armantas Dagys connects with numerous jabs to the face of Correira. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. A welt begins to form under Correiras eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Dagys. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Ernest Correiras legs are wobbled by a strong hook to the temple then a shovel punch to the jaw. Dagys fires a haymaker but misses spinning himself around. Ernest Correira quickly takes his back. Armantas carefully protects himself from Correiras strikes. Armantas is able to make it back to the standing position. Ernest Correira lands a strong outside leg kick that buckles Dagys. Ernest Correira then switch kicks Dagys on the opposing rib. Armantas Dagys circles "Goes to jail in", mixing jabs and leg kicks. Armantas Dagys takes a punch and goes to the mat, "Goes to jail in" pounces into side control. Armantas Dagys recovers quickly. The round comes to an end.
Round 4 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Armantas Dagys lands a powerful uppercut in the clinch. Armantas Dagys escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Armantas connects with a strong right hook. Ernest shoots in and grabs a single leg. Armantas Dagys hops on one leg and defends the takedown. While on one leg, he leaps into the air and lands his apposing knee forcing Ernest to release the attempt. Armantas lands a double jab. Armantas catches a leg kick and fires a hard punch to the head dropping Correira. Armantas Dagys lays into Ernests thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Ernest Correira does so. Round 4 is finished.
Round 5 Armantas Dagys weaves through a jab-cross combo but is hit with a nasty hook. Dagys connects with a hard punch making Ernest Correira bring him in to a tight clinch. Dagys works "Goes to jail in" into the cage from the clinch. Dagys presses his head under Correiras chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Correira is able to work to two overhooks and lands some strong knees and short hooks. Correira breaks away from the clinch while delivering a knee. Dagys throws a few jabs at Ernest Correira that miss the mark. Armantas connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Dagys throws a few jabs at Correira that miss the mark. The bell signals the end of round 5.
