Simonsen connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Schoesser works Simonsen into the cage from the clinch. Schoesser presses his head under Daniel Simonsens chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Manfried Schoesser works to Daniels back while standing. Manfried Schoesser throws a couple of outside shots until Daniel Simonsen is able to work his way back to the clinch. Manfried Schoesser takes Daniel Simonsens back standing. Daniel isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Manfried Schoesser lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Daniel to release. Manfried gets range with Balanco movement using Pendulo to escape a hard strike from Daniel. Manfried quickly attacks with a spinning side kick fake followed by a jumping head kick that lands flush to the head. Daniel crumples to the ground koed.
