Round 1 Gevorg Ajemian locks in a tight muay thai clinch and lands several knees to the ribs of Joey Gallagher. Joey works Gevorg into the cage from the clinch. Joey presses his head under Gevorgs chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Gallagher takes Ajemians back standing. Ajemian isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Gallagher lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Ajemian to release. Joey attempts a jab but is countered by a hard right leg kick to the knee. A jab from Ajemian is blocked and a cross is returned by Joey. Joey connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Ajemian connects with a brutal kick to the liver of Gallagher who falls to the ground. Ajemian waves him back to his feet. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Joey drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Gevorg sets a guillotine choke but Joey slips out at the last moment. Joey is now caught in guard. Ajemian attempts a switch from the guard, but a scramble takes place getting both fighters to their feet. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Gevorg connects with a stiff knee to the chin. Joey is dazed on the mat. Gevorg dances around Gallaghers legs and lands a powerful soccer kick to the head. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Gevorg lands multiple inside leg kicks that have Joey circling away. Joey Gallagher connects with a hard jab as Gevorg Ajemian attempts a wide outside hook. Joey connects with a right that puts Gevorg off balance tumbling to the mat, as Joey towers over him. Joey lays into Gevorg Ajemians thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Ajemian does so. Gallagher connects with a right that puts Gevorg Ajemian off balance tumbling to the mat, as Gallagher towers over him. Joey stands over Gevorg Ajemian, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Gevorg Ajemian cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. Gallagher kicks at the legs of Gevorg and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Gevorg to stand. Ajemian parries a jab but leaves himself open for an uppercut. Joey ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Gevorg to the mat, and his back. The round comes to an end.
Round 4 Joey counters a jab with a stiff uppercut. A straight powerful jab from Joey Gallagher sends Ajemian crashing to the mat.
