Round 1 Juan connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of Bruce Greene. Greene fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Juan Castro to the cage. Juan Castro swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Juan gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. Juan Castro goes to deep half guard and grabs the arm of Greene and sweeps him forward into side control.
Greene almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Bruce Greene throws a push kick. Castro shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Bruce Greenes nose.
Juan Castro attempts a striking combination, but Bruce Greene forces the clinch. Juan Castro takes Bruces back standing, but Bruce isolates an arm and locks a spinning kimura but Juan Castro squirms out and both fighters end up standing. Greene connects with a series of punches forcing Juan Castro into a clinch. Castro receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Bruce Greene. Round 3 Juan Castro connects with a hard jab as Bruce attempts a wide outside hook. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Bruce Greene grabs the plum and pulls Juan Castros face into a powerful knee. Greene throws a few strikes allowing him to clinch with his opponent. Bruce Greene places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Both fighters jockeying in the clinch. Bruce Greene grabs an arm of Juan turns and dumps him over his body with a Seoi Nage. Bruce Greene keeps the arm and locks in a lightning fast armbar. Juan struggles out and scrambles back to the feet. A wild hook from Castro is ducked by Bruce Greene who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. The bell signals the end of round 3.
Round 4 Greene connects with a hard punch making Castro bring him in to a tight clinch. Bruce Greene has double underhooks, locks across the body, and takes Castro down to the mat, landing in great side control. Bruce Greene lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Bruce Greene slides his knee across the body of Juan Castro and takes full mount. Castro shifts his head and hips to keep Bruce off balance and unable to land strikes. Juan attempts to escape mount but has no luck. The bell signals the end of round 4.
Round 5 Bruce Greene staggers Juan Castro with a strong hook. Juan Castro almost gives up his back while standing but turns the tables by utilizing a scoop throw to take side control. Juan Castro slides his knee across the body of Greene and takes full mount. Castro punishes Bruce with a series of strikes from the mount. Juan Castro telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Bruce Greene gives up his back to stop the attempt. Castro peppers shot to the head of Bruce Greene looking for an opening to apply a rear naked choke but Bruce Greene is hand playing well. Bruce rolls back into being mounted. Round 5 comes to a close.
