Round 1
The fighters circle each other. Blaise hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Cyrano connects with a jab cross combination. Blaise connects with a right that puts Daniel off balance tumbling to the mat, as Blaise towers over him. The round comes to an end.

Round 2
After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Simonsen escapes the clinch and creates some distance. "Four Two Zero" hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Cyrano lands a double jab. Simonsen lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Blaise. Daniel Simonsen is hit with a jab then hook to the body and stumbles backward. "Four Two Zero" explodes forward with a push kick that puts Daniel Simonsen on the canvas. Cyrano Blaise throws a short kick to the downed Daniel Simonsen. Daniel Simonsen takes the chance to rise back to his feet.Round 2 comes to a close.

Round 3
Cyrano Blaise lands a strong outside leg kick and follows it up with a jab-cross combo. Cyrano Blaise lands a solid kick to the inside thigh of Daniel. Daniel is hit with a jab then hook to the body and stumbles backward. "Four Two Zero" explodes forward with a push kick that puts Daniel on the canvas. Cyrano Blaise lays into Daniels thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Daniel does so. Simonsen is hit with a hook and a shovel punch and stumbles backward. Cyrano Blaise explodes forward with a push kick that puts Simonsen on the canvas. Cyrano Blaise lands a strong heel spike on the quadriceps of Daniel Simonsen. Blaise grabs a foot and kicks at Simonsens thighs. He then backs off and Daniel Simonsen stands back up. Daniel is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from Cyrano Blaise. Daniel Simonsen connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. The bell signals the end of round 3.

Round 4
Blaise throws a few jabs at Daniel that miss the mark. "Four Two Zero" lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Daniel Simonsen. Both fighters begin to exchange Cyrano Blaise catches Simonsen with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Simonsen gather himself. Simonsen says he is ok and the fight continues. Daniel Simonsen winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. After dodging a jab, "Four Two Zero" lands a kick to the ribs of Daniel who winces in pain. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Round 4 comes to a close.

Round 5
"Four Two Zero" connects with a teep to the face of Daniel Simonsen. "Four Two Zero" misses with an axe kick that has Daniel Simonsen back up. Blaise gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Daniel attempts to lock in a rear naked choke, but Cyrano Blaise rolls into to mount to cleverly avoid it. Daniel punishes "Four Two Zero" with a series of strikes from the mount. "Four Two Zero" bucks Daniel Simonsen off and sweeps him over getting into his half guard. Round 5 comes to a close.
