Round 1 Both fighters begin to exchange Duke Miller catches Du Plessis with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Du Plessis gather himself. Du Plessis says he is ok and the fight continues. Duke Miller connects with a hard jab as Du Plessis attempts a wide outside hook. "Miller Time" attempts a lazy shot, which Christopher Du Plessis sprawls, eventually taking "Miller Time" back. Du Plessis peppers shot to the head of Duke Miller looking for an opening to apply a rear naked choke but Duke Miller is hand playing well. "Miller Time" is able to make it back to the standing position. Du Plessis tries to hyperextend the knee of "Miller Time" with a kick to the kneecap. "Miller Time" hops back to avoid it. "Miller Time" hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 "Miller Time" throws a cross that easily dodged by Christopher Du Plessis. Du Plessis fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing "Miller Time" to the cage. "Miller Time" swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Du Plessis drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Miller works for a triangle but Christopher Du Plessis throws Duke Millers straight leg over his head and makes it to half guard. "Miller Time" tries to slip his leg out to get full guard, but is having difficulty. Christopher slips out of half guard and into side control. Duke gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Miller slips out the back leading to both fighters standing up. Duke Miller shoots but Christopher Du Plessis stuffs it, eventually working in a whizzer and landing some sharp knees that allows him to move to side mount. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Duke Miller connects with a combination and backs away from the counter combo of "Ozymandias". Duke winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. "Miller Time" throws a teep backing Christopher off. Christopher Du Plessis throws a kick to the midsection that is caught by Duke Miller. Duke Miller lands a sweeping leg kick that puts Christopher Du Plessis on his back. Round 3 is over.
Round 4 Christopher connects with a jab cross combination. Christopher narrowly dodges a cross from Duke, but falls catching him in his guard. "Ozymandias" dodges some ground strikes from Duke Miller, and sends a few back of his own. "Miller Time" presses the action while in the guard, but Christopher Du Plessis is able to switch him into mount. Christopher secures his position. Duke Miller bucks off Christopher and gives up his back but Christopher is too quick and locks in a tight choke.
