Round 1 Vladik Afanasyev attempts to clinch, but Adams connects with an uppercut to the jaw. "The Chiropractor" attempts a striking combination, but Sid forces the clinch. Adams connects with a stiff knee to the chin. Vladik Afanasyev is dazed on the mat. Sid throws a short kick to the downed "The Chiropractor". "The Chiropractor" takes the chance to rise back to his feet. Adams tries to hyperextend the knee of "The Chiropractor" with a kick to the kneecap. "The Chiropractor" hops back to avoid it. Vladik Afanasyev fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Adams. Sid Adams gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. Sid takes Vladik Afanasyevs back while standing. Vladik tries to execute a rolling kneebar but Sid counters well, trapping Vladik upside-down and under him. Sid leans over shovel punches Vladik into unconsciousness.
