Round 1 Stan connects with a hard jab as Donoghue attempts a wide outside hook. "Snake" throws a hard leg kick but is checked by Donoghue. "Snake" throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from "Dre CC" puts "Snake" on the mat giving his back up. Andrew Donoghue tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. "Snake" starts to wiggle out of back control, Donoghue lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Andrew looks to press the action with a flurry of punches but Stan lands a strong lead-leg kick and circles away. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Cooper winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "Dre CC" drops down and thrusts forward with a textbook double leg takedown. Andrew Donoghue sits up in Stans open guard and spins to an leg lock. Stan is able to gator-roll out of it and make it to standing. Andrew narrowly dodges a cross from "Snake", but falls catching him in his guard. "Dre CC" connects with several chop shots from the bottom. Donoghue dodges some ground strikes from Cooper, and sends a few back of his own. "Dre CC" powers out sweeping Stan Cooper with pure strength. "Dre CC" is now in side control. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Stan Cooper pushes away from "Dre CC" and lands a strong chopping kick to the lead leg. Donoghue is staggered by a jab to the chin. Donoghue begins a combination but "Snake" ducks down, picking Andrew Donoghues leg. "Snake" lifts Andrew Donoghues leg as high as he can and throws a sweeping leg kick. Cooper kicks at the legs of Andrew and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Andrew to stand. Andrew attempts a takedown but slips, and Cooper backs away. Cooper is standing over Andrew. Cooper lays into Andrew Donoghues thighs with some well timed kicks while Andrew Donoghue is grounded. Cooper lays into Andrew Donoghues thighs and then backs off and tells him to stand up. Round 4 A welt begins to form under "Dre CCs" eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Cooper. Cooper throws a teep backing Andrew off. Donoghue parries a jab but is caught by a sweeping leg kick that sends him to the floor. Stan kicks at the legs of Donoghue and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Donoghue to stand. Donoghue attempts a takedown but slips, and Stan Cooper backs away. Stan Cooper is standing over Donoghue. A solid kick bruises the leg of Andrew. Stan Cooper kicks at the legs of "Dre CC" and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells "Dre CC" to stand. Donoghue is struck by a ball kick from Stan Cooper that causes him to stumble backwards. Cooper lands multiple inside leg kicks that have Donoghue circling away. The bell signals the end of round 4.
Round 5 "Dre CC" shoots in for a double leg, hoists Cooper up, and slams him viciously to the mat, taking side control. Stan takes a few knees to the body while under Andrew Donoghues side control. Andrew drops some good elbows to the face of "Snake" forcing him to give up his back. "Snake" starts to wiggle out of back control, Andrew lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Andrew stuff a shot from Cooper and lands several shots to the body. Cooper attempts to pull guard but Andrew pushes his way to half guard. Donoghue is able to slip into mount from the half guard. "Snake" gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Stan starts to wiggle out of back control, Andrew Donoghue lets him escape putting them both on their feet. A welt begins to form under Stans eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Donoghue. "Dre CC" is hit with a jab but is able to slip a cross and grab a arm-triangle in standing. "Dre CC" trips Stan to the floor, landing in side control. Stan sweeps over Donoghue and quickly obtains mount position. Round 5 is over.
