Round 1
Cheng throws a few jabs at Pereyra that miss the mark. Cheng Kang fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Pereyra. Pereyra attempts to grab the plum but is tripped to the floor by Kang who lands in his guard. Kang sits up in Rodrigo Pereyras open guard and spins to an leg lock. Pereyra is able to gator-roll out of it and make it to standing. Cheng presses forward and is able to jump up and grab onto Rodrigo Pereyra, aggressively pulling guard. Cheng Kang dodges some ground strikes from Pereyra, and sends a few back of his own. "Let Me Bang" begins to posture on his side. Rodrigo Pereyra lands a couple of outside hooks and "Let Me Bang" returns to the guard. An attempt to pull a switch is blocked by Rodrigo but both fighters end up on their side. Both fighters scramble to a stand up. Round 1 is finished.

Round 2
A wild hook from Pereyra is ducked by Cheng Kang who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. The fighters circle each other. Cheng connects with jab cross combination. Pereyra winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Cheng narrowly dodges a cross from Rodrigo, but falls catching him in his guard. Cheng goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Rodrigo Pereyra slips out at the last second. A tight body triangle from the bottom position forces Rodrigo to pull Cheng close. Rodrigo is having trouble breathing in Kangs guard. Round 2 comes to a close.

Round 3
Rodrigo Pereyra swaying back and forth with Balanco stops and throws a reverse head kick decoy followed by a Martelo em Pe to the head with the opposite leg rocking "Let Me Bang" and backing him up. Pereyra connects with a hard punch making Kang bring him in to a tight clinch. Rodrigo places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Pereyra works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Pereyra takes the back of Cheng who works for a kimura. Pereyra pulls his arm out of the hold and push Cheng away. Cheng Kang throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Rodrigo is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off.Round 3 comes to a close.

Round 4
Cheng Kang connects with a hard jab as Rodrigo Pereyra attempts a wide outside hook. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Cheng Kang connects with numerous jabs to the face of Pereyra. "Let Me Bang" connects with a right that puts Pereyra off balance tumbling to the mat, as "Let Me Bang" towers over him. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.

Round 5
Both fighters begin to exchange Pereyra catches "Let Me Bang" with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets "Let Me Bang" gather himself. "Let Me Bang" says he is ok and the fight continues. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Pereyra places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Rodrigo Pereyra works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Cheng Kang takes Rodrigo Pereyras back standing. Rodrigo isolates an arm to lock a spinning kimura but Cheng Kang lands a sharp shovel punch that forces Rodrigo to release. Pereyra swaying back and forth with Balanco stops and throws a reverse head kick decoy followed by a Martelo em Pe to the head with the opposite leg rocking Cheng Kang and backing him up. Round 5 comes to a close.

Cheng "Let Me Bang" Kang wins by Unanimous Decision
