Round 1 Lee attempts to clinch, but Oscar connects with an uppercut to the jaw. Brett narrowly dodges a cross from Oscar, but falls catching him in his guard. Mikkelsen keeps his head down in the chest of Brett to avoid any submission attempts. Mikkelsen leans up and lands some short punches before lowering back down. Oscar pushes down Bretts leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. "American Dragon" defends short shots well by turning his head. Oscar Mikkelsen attempts to get a leg free to pass but "American Dragon" has it locked down too well. Mikkelsen presses his foot onto the thigh of Lee to get his own foot free. He successfully releases his leg and moves to side control. Mikkelsen drops some good elbows to the face of Brett Lee forcing him to give up his back. Brett starts to wiggle out of back control, Oscar Mikkelsen lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Brett Lee traps Oscar in the cage, landing a few strong punches to the face and body. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Brett Lee lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Oscar. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Oscar connects with a stiff knee to the chin. Lee is dazed on the mat. Oscar Mikkelsen kicks at the legs of Lee and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Lee to stand. Lee weaves through a jab-cross combo but is met with a strong knee. Mikkelsen connects with a hard punch making "American Dragon" bring him in to a tight clinch. Oscar Mikkelsen lands a powerful knee to the face of "American Dragon". Lee is on the receiving end of an elbow from Oscar opening up a cut. The ref stops for the doctor to take a look at it. The doctor calls the fight.
