Round 1 Addison slips a cross from Cherilyn Jia and lands an uppercut to the liver. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "Dead" places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Wood works Cherilyn into the cage from the clinch. Wood presses her head under Cherilyns chin so she cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Wood escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Cherilyn Jia attempts to clinch, but Addison Wood connects with an uppercut to the jaw. Jia connects with a strong body shot combo. Wood parries Cherilyns jab and lands an uppercut. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. "Dead" throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Jia is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Addison circles Cherilyn, keeping her at bay with quick strikes. Both fighters begin to exchange Wood catches Jia with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Jia gather herself. Jia says she is ok and the fight continues. Jia connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. After dodging a jab-cross, Addison Wood lands a kick to the liver of Cherilyn who steps back and begins to take a knee. Addison Wood rushes forward to capitalize but Cherilyn stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs her up. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 Wood takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block her head. Wood clinches with Jia and lands multiple piston shots and short uppercuts to soften up Jia for a trip takedown, landing Wood is half guard. Cherilyn Jia hits an upward elbow on Addison Wood, and attempts to get to full guard. During the scramble though Addison Wood takes side control. Jia gives her back in an attempt to get out of side control. As Addison spins around to take it, Jia makes her way back to her feet. A shot attempt from Jia is sidestepped by Addison Wood who counters with a hard spear of her own. Addison Wood throws an outside hook that lands flush allowing her to stand up to tower over Jia. Addison Wood drops a powerful fist onto Cherilyn. Cherilyn Jias eyes roll back into her head, and this fight is over.
