Round 1 Bates strikes with a straight front kick. A jab from "Drunken Bum" is blocked and a cross is returned by Colt. "Drunken Bum" lands a double jab. A left high kick from "45 CC Norman" keeps Colon at bay. Colt is cornered by Colon who tries to press the action. Colt is able to block well and circles away from Colon, delivering a chopping leg kick and a grazing cross as he does so. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 "45 CC Norman" buckles Colon with a kick. "45 CC Norman" rushes forward to grab a guillotine, then falls to guard. Colon is in trouble but is able to muscles his way out of the choke. Jamal drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. "Drunken Bum" takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Batess guard. It doesn't pay off as Colt makes his way to standing. "Drunken Bum" throws a powerful left hook, but is met with a strong jab from Bates. Colt takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Colt attempts to press in but Colon uses a inside reaping to put Colt on the canvas. Colon hops to side control. Bates almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. "Drunken Bum" lands a few stiff elbows from side control. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Bates throws a solid knee to the jaw of Jamal Colon. Colt Bates escapes the clinch and creates some distance. "Drunken Bum" is struck by a ball kick from "45 CC Norman" that opens him up for a push kick to the midsection. Colt circles Colon, landing a front snap kick that stuns him. "Drunken Bum" takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Colt is hit with a hook and a shovel punch and stumbles backward. Colon tries to press the action but is met with a push kick from Colt that puts him on the floor. Colt Bates lays into Jamals thighs with some well timed kicks while Jamal is grounded. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 4 Colt Bates eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Colon. Colt eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Jamal Colon. Bates strikes with a straight front kick. The fighters circle each other. "45 CC Norman" is staggered by a jab to the chin. Jamal sends Bates to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Round 4 is finished.

Bates keeps Colon at a distance with some well timed jabs. Jamal Colon keeps Colt Bates at a distance with some well timed jabs. Colt lands multiple inside leg kicks that have "Drunken Bum" circling away. Colon begins a combination but Colt ducks down, picking Colons leg. Colt lifts Colons leg as high as he can and throws a sweeping leg kick. Colt Bates kicks at the legs of Colon and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Colon to stand. Round 5 is over.
