Round 3 Michio Uesugi snaps back the head of Vic with a stiff jab. A welt begins to form under Uesugis eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Vic Rowly. Vic throws a cross that easily dodged by Uesugi. Vic Rowly stuff a shot from Vic Rowly and lands some powerful outside hammerfists to Michios temple causing Uesugi to roll back, giving up side control.Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 Vic narrowly dodges a cross from Michio, but falls catching him in his guard. Rowly is almost caught in a omoplata but is able to work his way back to guard. Vic Rowly backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Michio Uesugi lands a double jab. Vic Rowly is hit with two hard punches to his face. Vic Rowly laughs off the punches. Vic attempts to press in but Michio uses a inside reaping to put Vic on the canvas. Michio hops to side control. Michio attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Vic for his troubles. A series of strong hammerfists forces Rowly to try and roll toward Michio. Michio lands a devastating shovel punch that roll Rowly to his back. Michio scrambles to his back. The round comes to an end.
Round 5 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Michio works Vic into the cage from the clinch. Michio presses his head under Vics chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Vic takes Uesugis back standing, but Michio Uesugi isolates an arm and locks a spinning kimura but Vic squirms out and both fighters end up standing. A wild hook from Michio Uesugi is ducked by Vic Rowly who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Vic throws a cross that easily dodged by Michio.
