Round 1 A jab from Ole is blocked and a cross is returned by Gabe. Gabe Evans throws a few strikes allowing him to clinch with his opponent. Evans takes "The Bandits" back standing. Evans lands a couple of uppercuts from behind. Ole Barker is able to work his way back around. Evans has double underhooks, locks across the body, and takes "The Bandit" down to the mat, landing in great side control. Barker takes a few knees to the body while under Gabes side control. "The Bandit" almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. Gabe Evans lands a few stiff elbows from side control. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 Barker grabs for a clinch but Evans grazes him with an uppercut. Barker staggers back, then surprises Evans with a powerful superman punch. Gabe lands a strong outside leg kick but is hit with a heavy counter hook. Gabe is caught square on the jaw putting him to the canvas, "The Bandit" prepares to pounce, but Gabe gets his bearings just in time. Barker kicks at the legs of Gabe Evans and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Gabe Evans to stand. Evans is hit with a stiff double jab and stumbles to the mat, rolling to his back. Ole lays into Gabes thighs with some well timed kicks while Gabe Evans is grounded. Ole Barker kicks at the legs of Gabe and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Gabe to stand. Gabe weaves through a jab-cross combo but is met with a strong knee. Barker lands a strong outside leg kick that is returned by Evans. Round 2 is finished.
Round 3 The fighters circle each other. Barker connects with a right that puts Gabe off balance tumbling to the mat, as Barker towers over him. "The Bandit" cannot find an opening to pounce. The ref brings Evans back to his feet. Ole connects with a right that puts Gabe Evans off balance tumbling to the mat, as Ole towers over him. Barker attempts to drop a fist on Evans, but misses and lands in his guard. Gabe begins to posture on his side. Ole Barker lands a couple of outside hooks and Gabe returns to the guard. Ole Barker uses strikes to open Evanss guard. Ole Barker stands up and waves Evans up. Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 Gabe keeps Ole Barker at a distance with some well timed jabs. Gabe attempts a takedown but slips, and Ole Barker backs away. Ole Barker is standing over Gabe. Ole Barker cannot find an opening to pounce. The ref brings Gabe back to his feet. Gabe Evans attempts a takedown but slips, and Ole Barker backs away. Ole Barker is standing over Gabe Evans. Ole Barker attempts to drop a fist on Gabe Evans, but misses and lands in his guard. Gabe attempts to lock an omoplata, but Ole is able to muscle his way back to the guard. "The Bandit" presses the action while in the guard, but Evans is able to switch him into mount. The bell signals the end of round 4.
Round 5 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Gabe works Ole Barker into the cage from the clinch. Gabe presses his head under Ole Barkers chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. Gabe dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with "The Bandit" standing over him. Ole attempts to drop a fist on Gabe Evans, but misses and lands in his guard. Ole Barker tries to pass guard but Gabe stops him with a well timed punch. Evans starts to lock a triangle. Barker postures up and starts to stand up. Evans lands a stiff upkick, slumping Barker back into his guard. Ole Barker pulls out of the guard of Gabe, stands up, feels it out, and drops a huge right hand to the jaw of Gabe. Gabe Evans works the rubber guard on Barker, eventually allowing an omaplata to be set in. Barker quickly taps out.
