Round 1 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. "Bubbles" works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. Leonide Gorsky attempts a takedown from the clinch, but James pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Jodoin circles Gorsky, mixing jabs with body shots. A welt begins to form under Gorskys eye after a strong cross-hook landed from James Jodoin. James circles Leonide Gorsky, landing jabs at will. A looping right hook from Jodoin sends Leonide Gorsky to the mat. Jodoin stands over Leonide, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Leonide is able to grab an arm and pull Jodoin into his guard. Round 1 is over.
Round 2 James circles Leonide, landing jabs and crosses at will. Leonide connects with a series of punches forcing James Jodoin into a clinch. "Bubbles" drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. Gorsky sets a guillotine choke but "Bubbles" slips out at the last moment. "Bubbles" is now caught in guard. James takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Gorskys guard. It doesn't pay off as Leonide Gorsky makes his way to standing. "Bubbles" attempts a striking combination, but Gorsky forces the clinch. Jodoin dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Gorsky standing over him. Leonide Gorsky dances around Jodoins legs and lands a powerful soccer kick to the head. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Leonide Gorsky lands a double jab. Jodoin narrowly dodges a cross from Leonide, but falls catching him in his guard. Leonide Gorsky pulls out of the guard of James, stands up, feels it out, and drops a huge right hand to the jaw of James. James Jodoin gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. Leonide drops an elbow onto the forehead of James Jodoin. Leonide Gorsky slips out of half guard and into side control. "Bubbles" gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. "Bubbles" starts to wiggle out of back control, Leonide lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Jodoin connects with a series of punches forcing Gorsky into a clinch.Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 "Bubbles" fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Gorsky to the cage. Gorsky swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. Leonide Gorsky is caught in a can opener and opens his guard. He lands two quick strikes but James transitions to half guard. Jodoin is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Leonide shifts his head and hips to keep Jodoin off balance and unable to land strikes. James Jodoin telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but Leonide Gorsky gives up his back to stop the attempt. Leonide Gorsky tries to stand up but "Bubbles" plants him back down with several strikes. James tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. The bell signals the end of round 4.
Round 5 The fighters circle each other. Jodoin circles Leonide Gorsky, landing jabs and crosses at will. Jodoin connects with a strong right hook. James Jodoin circles Gorsky, landing jabs at will. A shot from James is countered by a guillotine from Leonide. James follows through with a slam that stuns Leonide. James lands multiple hammerfists, putting Leonide to sleep.
