Round 1
"Mister Perfect" attempts to press in on "The Abortionist" but is met with powerful inside-leg kicks. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Mereu drops to a knee and attempts a takedown from the clinch. "The Abortionist" sets a guillotine choke but Mereu slips out at the last moment. Mereu is now caught in guard. McConomy backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. "Mister Perfect" throws a cross that easily dodged by "The Abortionist". "Mister Perfect" throws a cross that easily dodged by Trey. Tancredo Mereu is staggered by a jab to the chin. Round 1 is over.

Round 2
Mereu grabs for a clinch but "The Abortionist" grazes him with an uppercut. Mereu staggers back, then surprises "The Abortionist" with a powerful superman punch. Trey takes a punch and goes to the mat, Tancredo Mereu pounces into side control. Trey recovers quickly. Tancredo lands a few stiff elbows from side control. McConomy gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Tancredo is working a furious pace on Trey McConomy, intermingling strikes with positional dominance at will. McConomy tripods up, causing Mereu to fall forward. A scramble ensues and McConomy is able to take half guard. Round 2 is finished.

Round 3
A running flurry from Tancredo Mereu is countered by a well-timed shovel punch from Trey. Trey follows up with a powerful kick to the midsection. Trey McConomy throws a kick to the midsection of Mereu. "The Abortionist" lands a double jab. McConomy lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. "The Abortionist" rushes forward landing a quick succession of leg, body and head kicks sends Tancredo Mereu back into the cage dizzied. The fighters circle each other. A shot from Mereu is countered by a guillotine choke from Trey McConomy. Mereu is forced to tap out.
