Round 1 The fighters circle each other. A wild hook from Chavez is ducked by Isao who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Chepito Chavez throws a wild punch, putting him off balance. A few well timed strikes from Isao puts Chepito Chavez on the mat giving his back up. Giving up his back, Chepito Chavez panics and gives up mount instead. "Choo Choo" shifts his head and hips to keep Miki off balance and unable to land strikes. Isao Miki punishes "Choo Choo" with a series of strikes from the mount. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 The fighters circle each other. "Choo Choo" throws a cross that easily dodged by Miki. Isao Miki ducks under a loopy hoop, taking Chepito Chavez to the mat, and his back. Isao Miki peppers Chavez with several shots to the face. Chavez starts to wiggle out of back control, Miki lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Isao circles Chavez, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Isao Miki catches a leg kick from Chavez, and puts him on the mat. The round comes to an end.
Round 3 Isao Miki parries Chepito Chavezs jab and connect with a cross. Isao fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Chepito Chavez. "Choo Choo" attempts to grab the plum but Isao takes the opportunity to attain double underhooks and take down "Choo Choo". Isao sits up in Chepitos open guard and spins to an leg lock. Chepito Chavez is able to gator-roll out of it and make it to standing. Miki narrowly dodges a cross from Chepito Chavez, but falls catching him in his guard. Isao Miki goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Chepito slips out at the last second. Isao connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Chepito begins to throw strikes from in guard. Miki times a kimura attempt perfectly and sinks the hold. Chepito tries to land head and body shots but the pain is too much and he finally taps.
