Round 1 Jamal Armstrong fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Ryan. "Liger" gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. Ryan recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. The fighters circle each other. Jamal circles Louie, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Ryan throws a cross that easily dodged by Jamal Armstrong. "Liger" connects with a right that puts Louie off balance tumbling to the mat, as "Liger" towers over him. "Liger" stands over Ryan, works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. Ryan cannot trap him in his guard and pushes him away instead. The bell signals the end of round 1.
Round 2 "Liger" throws a push kick. Louie shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Jamals nose.
Louie Ryan fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with "Liger". Ryan is in the clinch with Armstrong, and changes levels for a beautiful double leg takedown. Louie takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Jamals guard. It doesn't pay off as Armstrong makes his way to standing. Louie narrowly dodges a cross from Jamal Armstrong, but falls catching him in his guard. Ryan pulls Jamal Armstrong close and connects with a few heel strikes to the back. While caught in the guard, Jamal Armstrong opens up a cut on Louie with a devestating elbow. Louie attempts to lock an omoplata, but Jamal is able to muscle his way back to the guard. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 "Liger" attempts a takedown, but cannot finish it. Louie takes advantage of the moment taking side control. Louie Ryan slides his knee across the body of Jamal and takes full mount. Jamal shifts his head and hips to keep Ryan off balance and unable to land strikes. "Liger" gets pummeled by the fists of Ryan. "Liger" gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. "Liger" carefully protects himself from Louies strikes. Jamal Armstrong tries to slip out the back, but Ryan sets in a triangle choke, forcing Jamal Armstrong to submit.
