Round 1 Masato Kanada takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Cisco fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Masato Kanada. Masato works to Soliss back while standing. Masato throws a couple of outside shots until Cisco is able to work his way back to the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Masato fakes a shot attempt from the clinch, opening Cisco Solis up for a flurry of hooks. Cisco Solis connects with a strong right hook. Masato circles Cisco Solis, mixing jabs with body shots. "MK12" stuffs a shot from Cisco and hits him with an outside body shot. Cisco gives up on the takedown and pulls guard. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 "MK12" attempts a takedown, but cannot finish it. Solis takes advantage of the moment taking side control. Cisco Solis attempts an armbar, but Kanada stops the attempt. Cisco Solis uses the oppurtunity to take mount. Cisco Solis secures his position. "MK12" gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Cisco Solis tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Masato Kanada is able to make it back to the standing position. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Solis fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with "MK12". Solis receives a couple of stiff short hooks in the clinch. A strong elbow forces Solis to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Masato attempts to drop a fist on Cisco Solis, but misses and lands in his guard. Cisco Solis connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Cisco lands a stiff elbow while on his back. Cisco begins to posture on his side. Masato lands a couple of outside hooks and Cisco returns to the guard. "MK12" takes advantage of a mental laps from Solis and moves into full mount. The bell signals the end of round 3.
Round 4 Kanada connects with a right that puts Solis off balance tumbling to the mat, as Kanada towers over him. Masato Kanada attempts to drop a fist on Cisco Solis, but misses and lands in his guard. Cisco attempts an armbar. Kanada time a spin perfectly landing a strong overhand as he works his way into Soliss guard. Kanada passes through Cisco Soliss guard into mount. "MK12" splits Soliss nose open with a well timed punch. Cisco Solis gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Kanada lays into Cisco Solis with some strong shots forcing Cisco Solis to give up mount position. Cisco gets pummeled by the fists of Masato Kanada. Cisco gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it.Round 4 comes to a close.
Round 5 Cisco narrowly dodges a cross from "MK12", but falls catching him in his guard. A couple of hard outside strikes opens up Ciscos guard and Kanada is able to move to half guard. Masato Kanada opens a cut over the eye of Cisco Solis. The doctor takes a look at it, and says he's okay to continue. "MK12" slips out of half guard and into side control. Masato Kanada attempts to mount, but gets a few punches from Cisco Solis for his troubles. Cisco Solis is able to get back to full guard.Round 5 comes to a close.
