Round 1 James connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. "The Warden" connects with a jab cross combination. Jodoin connects with numerous jabs to the face of Buzz Ward. James attempts a striking combination, but "The Warden" forces the clinch. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Jodoin connects with numerous jabs to the face of "The Warden". "The Warden" is hit with a jab-cross and then brutally shoved to the ground. James falls into his guard, delivering a strong punch as he does so. Ward dodges some ground strikes from James Jodoin, and sends a few back of his own. Jodoin pushes down Buzz Wards leg, allowing him to pass guard into half guard. Buzz Ward attempts to get to full guard but in the process gives up mount. Ward gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Buzz starts to wiggle out of back control, Jodoin lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Both fighters begin to exchange Buzz Ward catches Jodoin with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Jodoin gather himself. Jodoin says he is ok and the fight continues. Buzz Ward presses forward and grazes Jodoin with a combo. Jodoin wants none of the stand up and clinches with Buzz Ward to then savagely throw him down to the ground. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Buzz Ward hits an uppercut to the head of "Bubbles" followed by a hard hook. James Jodoin narrowly dodges a cross from Ward, but falls catching him in his guard. Jodoin fires elbows off his back to the top of the head of Ward. "The Warden" eats a stiff punch to the face, and is then swithced, giving James full mount. Buzz lands a good elbow as James lowers his torso. "Bubbles" secures his position. Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 "Bubbles" is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from Ward. Jodoin connects with a hard punch making Buzz Ward bring him in to a tight clinch. Buzz throws a short elbow at James. Buzz lands a powerful knee to the face of "Bubbles". James Jodoin recieves a strong elbow opening up the clinch. Buzz Ward lands a strong outside leg kick and follows it up with a jab-cross combo. James is rocked by a standing elbow strike. Jodoin lands a strong outside leg kick but is hit with a heavy counter hook. The bell signals the end of round 4.
Round 5 Jodoin stuffs a shot from Buzz and hits him with a hard hook to the temple and pushes him to take his guard. Buzz gives up guard avoiding a powerful hammer fist. He now has half guard. James Jodoin is able to slip into mount from the half guard. "The Warden" shifts his head and hips to keep James off balance and unable to land strikes. Buzz gets pummeled by the fists of James. Buzz gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. "Bubbles" tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Buzz rolls through, putting Jodoin into his guard. Round 5 comes to a close.
