Round 1 Branden is cornered by Nobu Kogo who tries to press the action. Branden is able to block well and circles away from Nobu Kogo, delivering a chopping leg kick and a grazing cross as he does so. The fighters circle one another hopping in and out trying to find their range. "Sengoku Power" snaps back the head of Collins with a stiff jab. Nobu circles Branden Collins, mixing jabs and leg kicks. "Sengoku Power" is staggered by a jab to the chin. Kogo fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Branden Collins to the cage. Branden Collins swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Branden Collins throws a hard jab but Nobu throws a cross right over the top that knocks Branden Collins to the ground. Kogo drops a huge strike to Collinss chin, landing into his guard. Nobu Kogo distracts Collins with peppering shots. Nobu Kogo then isolates a leg and sinks a achilles lock. Collins is able to force his way out but gives up mount in the ensuing scramble. Collins gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Nobu tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Kogo lays into Branden Collins with some strong shots forcing Branden Collins to give up mount position. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Branden Collins throws a cross that easily dodged by "Sengoku Power". Nobu circles Collins, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Nobu throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Branden Collins is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. "Sengoku Power" shoots in from a distance and knocks Branden Collins down with such force he ends up on his stomach. "Sengoku Power" scrambles to his back. Round 3 comes to a close.
Round 4 Branden Collins lands a strong outside leg kick and follows it up with a jab-cross combo. "Sengoku Power" looks to press the action with a flurry of punches but Branden Collins lands a strong lead-leg kick and circles away. Nobu Kogo parries a jab but is hit with a powerful knee to that midsection that drops him to the floor. Branden Collins kicks at the legs of Nobu and then asks him to stand up. The referee tells Nobu to stand. Branden Collins connects with a right that puts Kogo off balance tumbling to the mat, as Branden Collins towers over him. Branden lays into Kogos thighs with some well timed kicks while Nobu is grounded. Branden Collins grabs a foot and kicks at Kogos thighs. He then backs off and Nobu stands back up. A welt begins to form under Collinss eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Nobu. Nobu Kogo connects with numerous jabs to the face of Branden. Round 4 comes to a close.
Round 5 Collins throws a cross that easily dodged by Nobu Kogo. Nobu hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. Kogo executes a single leg giving him the back of Collins. Nobu peppers Branden with several shots to the face. Branden Collins starts to wiggle out of back control, Nobu Kogo lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Branden Collins parries Kogos jab and connect with a cross. Kogo lands a double jab. Round 5 comes to a close.
