Round 1 A welt begins to form under "Sengoku Powers" eye after a strong cross-hook landed from Branden. "Sengoku Power" winds up a heavy straight but is countered by a hard counter knee to the body. Branden Collins strikes with a straight front kick. Collins connects with a brutal kick to the liver of Nobu who falls to the ground. Collins waves him back to his feet. Collins connects with a hard punch making "Sengoku Power" bring him in to a tight clinch. Round 1 comes to a close.
Round 2 Nobu snaps back the head of Collins with a stiff jab. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Both fighters begin to exchange Nobu catches Branden with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Branden gather himself. Branden says he is ok and the fight continues. The fighters circle each other. Nobu Kogo connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. A wild hook from Branden Collins is ducked by Kogo who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Nobu Kogo connects with jab cross combination. Kogo is cut open by a standing elbow strike. The ref stops the fight. The doctor take a look at the cut and determines Kogo can continue. Collins just misses with a head kick, grazing Kogos skull. The fighters circle each other. After dodging a jab, Branden Collins lands a kick to the liver of Nobu who steps back only to take a knee. Branden Collins rushes forward to capitalize but Nobu falls to his back to avoid the onslaught. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 4 Nobu Kogo takes down Branden, but remains standing over him. Nobu attempts to drop a fist on Collins, but misses and lands in his guard. Nobu Kogo distracts Collins with peppering shots. Nobu Kogo then isolates a leg and sinks a achilles lock. Collins is able to force his way out but gives up mount in the ensuing scramble. Collins gets pummeled by the fists of Nobu. Collins gives up his back in an attempt to escape, but doesn't quite make it. Nobu Kogo tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. "Sengoku Power" attempts to lock in a rear naked choke, but Branden rolls into to mount to cleverly avoid it. Round 4 is over.
Round 5 Branden Collins lands a hook to the body. Collins gets hit with a strong punch, putting him to the mat, but he recovers just in time to give up his back. Collins carefully protects himself from Nobu Kogos strikes. Branden is able to make it back to the standing position. "Sengoku Power" is cut open by a standing elbow strike. The ref stops the fight. The doctor take a look at the cut and determines "Sengoku Power" can continue. Branden Collins lands a solid kick to the inside thigh of "Sengoku Power". Collins takes a punch and goes to the mat, Nobu Kogo pounces into side control. Collins recovers quickly. Round 5 is over.
