Round 1 James connects with a strong right hook. Stevenson lands a hook to the body then a straight cross to the sternum. The fighters circle each other. Both fighters begin to exchange Jodoin catches Stevenson with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Stevenson gather himself. Stevenson says he is ok and the fight continues. Maurice connects with a strong body shot combo. Maurice Stevenson hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of James. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 Maurice Stevenson executes a single leg giving him the back of "Bubbles". Maurice is working a furious pace on Jodoin, intermingling strikes with positional dominance at will. James Jodoin starts to wiggle out of back control, Maurice lets him escape putting them both on their feet. "Bubbles" attempts a takedown, but cannot finish it. Maurice takes advantage of the moment taking side control. Stevenson slides his knee across the body of James and takes full mount. Maurice Stevenson executes a double hand slap to the ears of "Bubbles". Stevenson secures his position. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Maurice Stevenson connects with a hard punch making Jodoin bring him in to a tight clinch. "Bubbles" works Maurice into the cage from the clinch. "Bubbles" presses his head under Maurices chin so he cannot defend the piston shots from either side. "Bubbles" dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Stevenson standing over him. Maurice Stevenson stands over "Bubbles", works his way through his open guard and lands some solid standing punches. "Bubbles" is able to grab an arm and pull Maurice Stevenson into his guard. James fires elbows off his back to the top of the head of Maurice. Maurice Stevenson is working a furious pace inside of the guard of Jodoin. Stevenson tries to pass guard but Jodoin stops him with a well timed punch. While in the guard, Maurice drops a long punch. James Jodoin throws the leg over and rolls it over into an armbar. Maurice has no choice but to submit.
