Round 1
Heimirsson loses his balance from a well timed strike, and is awkwardly taken down by Katsuo for the mistake. Katsuo has side control. "The beachboy" slides his knee across the body of Arnmundur Heimirsson and takes full mount. "Arn" shifts his head and hips to keep Katsuo off balance and unable to land strikes. Arnmundur gives his back up trying to escape the mount. "Arn" tries to stand up but Katsuo plants him back down with several strikes. Giving up his back, Heimirsson panics and gives up mount instead. The round comes to an end.

Round 2
Katsuo Sugita connects with a right that puts "Arn" off balance tumbling to the mat, as Katsuo Sugita towers over him. "The beachboy" drops a huge strike to Arnmundur Heimirssons chin, landing into his guard. Katsuo Sugita locks a kimura but Arnmundur is too strong and he cannot finish it. He settles for a couple shots to Arnmundurs face. "The beachboy" takes advantage of a mental laps from Heimirsson and moves into full mount. Arnmundur attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Katsuo Sugita telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but "Arn" gives up his back to stop the attempt. Katsuo Sugita begins to look for a rear naked choke, but Arnmundur rolls to being mounted instead. Arnmundur Heimirsson attempts to escape mount but has no luck. Round 2 comes to a close.

Round 3
Katsuo throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. Arnmundur Heimirsson is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Katsuo Sugita connects with a strong body shot combo. Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. Both fighters begin to exchange Katsuo Sugita catches Arnmundur Heimirsson with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Arnmundur Heimirsson gather himself. Arnmundur Heimirsson says he is ok and the fight continues. Arnmundur Heimirsson connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. The bell signals the end of round 3.

Round 4
"The beachboy" takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Arnmundur throws a push kick. "The beachboy" shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Arnmundur Heimirssons nose. Arnmundur takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Katsuo Sugita snaps back the head of Arnmundur Heimirsson with a stiff jab. Heimirsson hits an uppercut to the head of Sugita followed by a hard hook. "Arn" connects with a hard punch and dives in mounting Katsuo Sugita.Round 4 comes to a close.

Round 5
Katsuo connects with a strong body shot combo. "The beachboy" circles Arnmundur Heimirsson, mixing jabs with body shots. Katsuo takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Arnmundur hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Katsuo. Sugita hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. "Arn" circles Katsuo, landing jabs and crosses at will. Round 5 is over.
