Round 2 Rogers throws a cross that easily dodged by Kazuhiro Ishimura. Rogers lands a double jab. Jon Rogers reaches down and trips Kazuhiro with a beautiful ankle pick. Jon Rogers dives into back control. Jon Rogers lands a series of heavy punches forcing Ishimura to roll to his back, giving Jon Rogers mount. Jon secures his position. Round 3 Ishimura lands a double jab. Rogers parries Kazuhiros jab and connect with a cross. Rogers throws a push kick. "ninja nightmare" shucks it and strikes with a overhand that crashes into Rogerss nose.

Round 5 Rogers ducks and weaves through a quick combo from Ishimura and knocks him back with a shovel punch to the jaw. A double-leg shot is stuffed initially by Kazuhiro, but Jon Rogers is able to muscle through for a takedown. Jon drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Two large hammerfists forces Kazuhiro Ishimura to attempt to shift away from Jon which give Jon the opportunity to move to half guard. Rogers hits "ninja nightmare" with some punches to the side of the head. Rogers drops an elbow onto the forehead of Kazuhiro. Jon is able to slip into mount from the half guard. The bell signals the end of round 5.
