Round 1 "La Tormenta" throws a cross that easily dodged by Lange. Lange connects with a jab cross combination. Both fighters trade shots and back away looking for the next opening. Lange dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. Both fighters begin to exchange Devon Lange catches Juan Molina with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Juan Molina gather himself. Juan Molina says he is ok and the fight continues. Devon feints a takedown attempt and connects with a left hook dropping Juan. Devon dives into guard. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 2 Devon attempts a takedown, but Juan clumsily falls down without much provocation. Lange drops a huge strike to Juan Molinas chin, landing into his guard. Devon Lange attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Juan Molina slips out of it at the last moment. Devon passes through Juan Molinas guard into mount. Devon maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Juan gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Lange begins to look for a rear naked choke, but Molina rolls to being mounted instead. "La Tormenta" bucks off Lange and both fighters get to their feet. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Devon Lange catches a leg kick from "La Tormenta", and puts him on the mat. Devon distracts Juan with some peppering shots. Devon then isolates a leg and falls back into a achilles lock. Juan is able to force his way out of it but gives up half guard in the ensuing scramble. Devon Lange attempts to sink a neck crank from half guard. It does not appear to be tight enough as Molina gives a thumbs up to the referee until he finally struggles out. Devon Lange presses his foot onto the thigh of Juan to get his own foot free. He successfully releases his leg and moves to side control. Juan Molina takes a few knees to the body while under Devons side control. "La Tormenta" gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. The bell signals the end of round 3.
Round 4 A wild hook from "La Tormenta" is ducked by Devon who lands a cross-hook to the body before backing away. Devon hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of "La Tormenta". Devon Lange hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of "La Tormenta". Juan connects with a leg kick then a hook to the side of the head. Molina hits a hook to the body and follows with a power straight that misses. Lange catches a leg kick and fires a hard punch to the head dropping Juan Molina. The bell signals the end of round 4.
Round 5 "La Tormenta" catches a leg kick from Devon, and puts him on the mat. Juan drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Devon attempts to create some space from his guard, but Molina sees the opening and passes to full mount. Devon gives his back up trying to escape the mount. Juan tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. Devon Lange starts to wiggle out of back control, Juan lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Devon attempts a striking combination, but Juan Molina forces the clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Juan Molina attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Lange pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Devon attempts a takedown but slips, and "La Tormenta" backs away. "La Tormenta" is standing over Devon. Juan Molina lays into Langes thighs with some well timed kicks while Devon Lange is grounded. The round comes to an end.
