Round 1 Both fighters begin to exchange "Barroom Judoka" catches Hardie with an eye poke. The referee calls time and lets Hardie gather himself. Hardie says he is ok and the fight continues. "Barroom Judoka" tries to hyperextend the knee of Hardie with a kick to the kneecap. Hardie hops back to avoid it. The fighters circle each other. Romero hits a lead uppercut and follows with a hard hook to the head of Hardie. Romero circles Huntly Hardie, landing jabs and crosses at will. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Both fighters trade glancing shots continuing to find their respective range. "Beat You Like Greg" throws a flurry connecting with the final punch. "Barroom Judoka" is rocked and stumbles to the ground but quickly shakes it off. Hardie lands a double jab. Hardie reaches down and trips Sergio Romero with a beautiful ankle pick. Hardie dives into back control. Huntly executes a double hand slap to the ears of "Barroom Judoka". Romero eats a few stiff shots from Huntly, and rolls giving mount to stop the ref from ending the fight. Round 2 comes to a close.
Round 3 Romero takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. "Barroom Judoka" hits a hard jab but misses with the follow up straight. The fighters circle each other. Huntly executes a single leg giving him the back of "Barroom Judoka". Hardie executes a double hand slap to the ears of Sergio. Giving up his back, Romero panics and gives up mount instead. The round comes to an end.
Round 4 Huntly Hardie dives in for a takedown but the momentum of the attempt ends in a scramble back to their feet. Hardie shoots in for a double leg, hoists Sergio Romero up, and slams him viciously to the mat, taking side control. Hardie wraps the arm of Sergio behind his back and traps it. Hardie pounds away with shots to the face. Huntly Hardie drops some good elbows to the face of Sergio Romero forcing him to give up his back. Sergio Romero carefully protects himself from "Beat You Like Gregs" strikes. Romero is able to make it back to the standing position. Round 4 comes to a close.
Round 5 Sergio Romero throws a cross that easily dodged by "Beat You Like Greg". Huntly executes a beautiful double leg takedown, putting Sergio to the mat, and Huntly into side control. "Beat You Like Greg" lands a few stiff elbows from side control. Romero gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Sergio Romero tries to explode out the backdoor but "Beat You Like Greg" sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. Sergio Romero falls flat to protect himself. Huntly Hardie tries to set in a rear naked choke, but can't quite finish it. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
