Round 1 Cody Collins parries Spencers jab and lands a liver shot. Couture sends Cody Collins to the mat with a well timed jab, falling into his guard. Spencer Couture dodges a few strikes from Cody and cuts him open with a couple of powerful elbows. A kimura attempt is defended well by Spencer Couture and he is able to sneak his leg through Cody Collinss loose guard, to half guard. Spencer Couture drops an elbow onto the forehead of Cody Collins. Couture slips out of half guard and into side control. Cody Collins gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Collins starts to wiggle out of back control, Spencer lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Couture lands a hook to the body. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Cody Collins places a few punches to the ribs while tied up. Cody Collins escapes the clinch and creates some distance. Spencer is cut open by a standing elbow strike. The ref stops the fight. The doctor take a look at the cut and determines Spencer can continue. Cody chips away at Couture with a series of kicks to the legs. After dodging a jab-cross, Cody Collins lands a kick to the liver of Couture who steps back and begins to take a knee. Cody Collins rushes forward to capitalize but Couture stands back up and is met by a strong cross-uppercut that again backs him up. Cody Collins connects with a right that puts Couture off balance tumbling to the mat, as Cody Collins towers over him. Cody Collins lays into Spencer Couture with some stomps. Spencer Couture can't handle it as the ref stops the fight.
