Round 1 "Bambino" lands a left hook, only to follow up with a strong kick to the ribs. Tonio Diaz lands a strong outside leg kick and follows it up with a jab-cross combo. Garret Griffin fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with "Bambino". "Bambino" grabs the plum and pulls Garrets face towards a powerful knee which is blocked. "Bambino" lets go of the hold and lands a hook. Tonio Diaz is caught square on the jaw putting him to the canvas, Griffin prepares to pounce, but Tonio Diaz gets his bearings just in time. Griffin drops a huge strike to Tonios chin, landing into his guard. Diaz starts to create some distance with his legs, Garret capitalizes by passing to side control. Tonio takes a few knees to the body while under Griffins side control. "Bambino" takes a few knees to the body while under Garrets side control. The round comes to an end.
Round 2 "Bambino" is on the receiving end of a good punching combination from Griffin. Garret keeps Tonio at a distance with some well timed jabs. After an exchange of punches, the fighters engage in the clinch. Garret breaks away from the clinch while delivering a knee. Garret is hit with a jab then a hook to the body and stumbles backward. Diaz tries to press the action but is met with a push kick from Garret that puts him on the floor. Griffin drops a huge strike to Tonio Diazs chin, landing into his guard. Griffin lands an intense elbow that has Diaz rocked. Griffin lands an outside strike as he moves into side mount. Griffin lands a few stiff elbows from side control. A knee to the body causes Diaz to try to block his body, opening him up for a knee to the head. Garret lands two follow-up knees to Tonios skull, knocking him out.
