The fighters circle each other. The fighters circle each other. Simmons fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Antonio Barros. Brent escapes the clinch and creates some distance. A sloppy scooping ankle block is pulled of by Brent. Barros is able to pull him into his guard. Antonio Barros backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Brent narrowly dodges a cross from Antonio Barros, but falls catching him in his guard. Simmons sets in an omaplata, forcing Barros to roll through, giving Simmons side control. Antonio almost switches side control around, but falls short at the last moment. Antonio Barros attempts to escape side control, but Brent spins to north south and executes a beatiful choke tapping Antonio Barros out.
