Round 1 Fritz takes down Matt, but remains standing over him. Fritz White drops a huge strike to Matts chin, landing into his guard. White dodges a few strikes from "The Professor" and cuts him open with a couple of powerful elbows. Fritz drops a few strong punches, opening up Matt Sanderss guard, giving him a chance to pass to mount. White maintains mount but laying some well timed strikes. Matt gives his back up trying to escape the mount. White lands a series of heavy punches forcing "The Professor" to roll to his back, giving White mount. Matt shifts his head and hips to keep Fritz off balance and unable to land strikes. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Matt Sanders narrowly dodges a cross from Fritz White, but falls catching him in his guard. A kimura attempt from "The Professor" is countered by a punch from Fritz White, who then transitions to half guard. Fritz is able to slip into mount from the half guard. Fritz White splits Sanderss nose open with a well timed punch. Fritz telegraphs his motions for an armbar, but "The Professor" gives up his back to stop the attempt. Sanders carefully protects himself from Fritzs strikes. "The Professor" tries to explode out the backdoor but Fritz sinks in both hooks, continually landing outside strikes. "The Professor" falls flat to protect himself. The bell signals the end of round 2.
Round 3 Matt connects with a series of punches forcing White into a clinch. White receieves numerous knees to the thighs from Sanders. "The Professor" escapes the clinch and creates some distance. The fighters circle each other. White eats a jab,jab, then a hook from Sanders. Fritz White is staggered by a jab to the chin. Matt Sanders attempts a takedown, but Fritz White clumsily falls down without much provocation. White thrusts his leg into Matt Sanderss knee while grounded.Round 3 comes to a close.
