Round 1 Koichi connects with a series of punches forcing Bell into a clinch. The fighters jockey for position in the clinch. Koichi Miwa dodges an uppercut to the chin, though loses his balance and falls to the ground, with Bell standing over him. Scott Bell attempts to drop a fist on Koichi, but misses and lands in his guard. Koichi Miwa connects with some unorthodox punches from the bottom position. Round 2 A shot catches Bell off balance and off guard. Miwa grabs him by the waist, lifts him, swings him through and slams in onto the ground. Bell scrambles well and works to guard. Miwa drops some good punches while being caught in the guard. Miwa takes a risk going for a leglock from being caught in Scotts guard. It doesn't pay off as Bell makes his way to standing. Scott dodges a jab and throws a knee to the midsection of Koichi. Bell grabs the plum and lands a strong elbow to the head of Koichi. An outside leg trip puts Koichi Miwa into side control. Scott Bell takes a few knees to the body while under Koichi Miwas side control. Miwa slides his knee across the body of Scott Bell and takes full mount. The ref stops the fight as the round comes to an end.
Round 3 Miwa circles Scott, mixing jabs with body shots. Scott Bell throws a cross that easily dodged by Koichi. The fighters circle each other. Bell lands a hook to the body.Round 3 comes to a close.
