Round 1 Collins is staggered by a jab to the chin. Vincent Collins takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Vincent Collins throws a cross that easily dodged by Long. Collins takes a heavy kick to the arm attempting to block his head. Bert circles Collins, mixing jabs and leg kicks. Bert attempts a takedown but slips, and Vincent Collins backs away. Vincent Collins is standing over Bert. Round 1 is finished.
Round 2 Collins fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Bert. Vincent Collins works the clinch to his advantage, carefully connecting with precise strikes. A strong elbow forces Vincent Collins to lose his balance and fall to the floor. Bert Long drops a huge strike to Vincents chin, landing into his guard. Collins shifts his hips to get better position in the guard. Collins goes for a kimura from the bottom, but Bert Long slips out at the last second. Vincent is pummeled by some well timed bombs from Bert. Vincent sinks a kimura, but cannot finish. He settles for a switch into mount. Round 2 is over.
Round 3 Long is staggered by a jab to the chin. Vincent Collins stuffs a takedown but is backed into a corner and must slide into guard to avoid being picked up. Collins is hit with a series of powerful punches while utilizing the guard. Vincent works for a triangle but Long throws Collinss straight leg over his head and makes it to half guard. Long tries to pull his leg out of half guard, but no luck. Collins hits an upward elbow on Long, and attempts to get to full guard. During the scramble though Long takes side control. Vincent Collins gives his back up in an attempt to get out of side control. Collins starts to wiggle out of back control, Bert lets him escape putting them both on their feet. Vincent Collins fakes a shot and lunges forward pressing Long to a corner. Long swims for underhooks but is taken down in the process.Round 3 comes to a close.
