Makoto Nakasato fakes a takedown attempt and clinches with Homer Russell. Nakasato gets double underhooks, and unleashes unanswered knees to the midsection. Makoto Nakasato attempts a takedown from the clinch, but Homer Russell pulls a switch on him, ultimately leading to both fighters on their feet. Makoto Nakasato connects with a right that puts Homer Russell off balance tumbling to the mat, as Makoto Nakasato towers over him. Makoto drops a huge strike to Homers chin, landing into his guard. Homer backs out of the guard after some unsuccessful motions and both fighters are standing. Nakasato catches a leg kick from Homer, and puts him on the mat. "smalls" attempts to set in a hammer lock from being caught in the guard. Homer Russell slips out of it at the last moment. While caught in the guard, "smalls" wraps his hands around Homers neck and cranks it hard. Homer taps out.
